If that was the case the PS3 would still be $600. If the 360 was such a value the pro system would be $400. Both companies say what they are suppose to say. State their opinionated value of their console. If you buy something that you don't want or need then there is no value in it. If you spend more for something that you need then there is no value in it. If you are happy with what you purchased then you win.
Now release the game already. I have been waiting since E3 2005 for this.
If you like or love your PS3 then why do you give a $%&^ what someone else thinks about it. When I had my Dreamcast I was laughed at by my friends because I did not want a PS2. I did not care because I was HAVING FUN. If you can't see that then sell your PS2, xbox360, Wii, PC, PSP, or what ever the heck you game on and stop gaming. you should want them around. Even of you hate M$ you should want them around. M$ and Sony has pushed each other this gen. Competition only helps consumers guys. We all know that M$ needs competition to keep them honest. I am put of by Sony's arrogance, but I do want them around, and I will support the PS3 in the near future. Lets spend more time gaming and not worrying if Sony is making money. Let those billionaires at Sony worry about that.
The fact that a game can be reviewed before it is released is crazy. I don't follow user reviews ever because of this. I read reviews and watch tons of gameplay footage to make my choice.

Then why even come out with a new OS. Lets see that is what service pack are for to make changes to an OS. I new OS should be a new OS.
What about an OS. Are they free or something. I don't steal software but I did want to know. Everyone builds PCs but were do they get the OS from for free and legal.
Yes and M$ has been going under for 20 years now, according to M$ haters. I only care about the workers though, the big dogs have enough money for 3 life times.
Often companies look at the big financial picture and decide to "trim fat". M$ may be looking at what is to come in the future. The same goes for hundreds of companies in the world.

If a game is better on the PS3 or 360 then it should be completely obvious from the get go. When you see Wii version of games VS PS3/360 versions it's obvious. There are tons of factors involved in making a game "better" on the blank console and most of us will never know. If you are happy with your console then just be happy. The only way you can always have the "better" game is to own all gaming platforms.

The PS3 still has time. I remember all the xbox360 is dead stuff back in 06. Once Sony drops the price before Killzone 2 comes out then things will get better. I think the PS3 can sell just on the name alone. All the bean counters on N4G need to chill and just continue to game.
